Haas F1 Team Unveils New Kit Partner for 2026 Season! (2026)

Formula 1 is a whirlwind of change, and the 2026 season is already shaping up to be a dramatic one! Haas has just announced a significant shift, securing a new apparel partner, and the ripple effects are being felt throughout the paddock.

The team has confirmed a partnership with Castore, who will become their official kit and retail partner starting in the 2026 season. This deal comes after reports surfaced in early 2025 about the potential switch.

This move is particularly interesting because it coincides with rumors of reigning champions McLaren potentially moving away from Castore. The details are still emerging, but it seems McLaren might be heading towards a deal with Puma.

Haas is clearly looking to the future. The team enjoyed a strong 2025 season, finishing eighth in the constructors’ championship. They scored their highest point total since 2018, with 79 points, just 13 points shy of sixth place.

Oliver Bearman achieved the team's best-ever result by taking fourth in Mexico, and Esteban Ocon secured a commendable fifth place in China.

In a further move, the team announced that it will compete as TGR Haas F1 Team in 2026, strengthening its technical partnership with Toyota.

Ayao Komatsu, the Haas team principal, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that Castore understands the team's need for agility and quality. Tom Beahon, co-founder of Castore, added that the partnership with Haas continues the momentum they have built in Formula 1.

But here's where it gets controversial... McLaren's potential shift to Puma is a significant development. They entered a five-year deal with Castore in 2022, worth a reported £30 million (approximately $40 million/€34.5 million) per season. The original agreement was set to run through the end of 2026.

The McLaren Racing Store's website, operated by stichd (a member of the PUMA group), hints at the upcoming change, emphasizing their close relationship with Puma. However, McLaren has yet to officially comment on the situation.

And this is the part most people miss... The impact of these partnerships extends beyond just apparel. These deals represent significant financial investments and strategic alignments within the sport.

What do you think about these changes? Are you excited to see Haas and Castore team up? Do you think McLaren's potential move to Puma is a good decision? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
