A family's holiday in Wales was unexpectedly upgraded to an unforgettable wildlife adventure when they witnessed a rare sight: a suspected humpback whale and a pod of dolphins near Pwll Deri on the Strumble Peninsula. Rebecca Kieft, a Swansea resident, was capturing the stunning coastal views when she noticed a 'big puff of water' through her window. Little did she know, it was a humpback whale breaking the surface. Rebecca's serendipitous moment was made even more special by her previous encounter with a humpback whale in Tahiti. The family felt incredibly fortunate to witness the dolphins' playful antics and the majestic whale, which was estimated to be three to four times larger than the dolphins.
