Iron Maiden's Eddfest at Knebworth 2026: Full Details & What to Expect (2026)

Get Ready for an Epic 50th Anniversary Bash! Iron Maiden is transforming Knebworth into a 'MAIDEN World' for a weekend you won't forget!

Last September, the legendary British heavy metal band IRON MAIDEN dropped a bombshell: their only U.K. show of 2026 would be held at the iconic Knebworth Park on July 11th. But they promised more than just a concert; they vowed to create an immersive "MAIDEN world" for their devoted fans. And now, the full, electrifying details are here!

Prepare yourselves for Eddfest, a truly once-in-a-lifetime event offering a spectacular 48-hour immersion into all things IRON MAIDEN. This isn't just a festival; it's a meticulously crafted experience featuring themed areas, vibrant bars, thrilling activities, and, of course, incredible live music.

But here's where it gets truly special... Inside Eddfest, you'll step into the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience. Imagine a walk-through journey showcasing actual stage props and precious relics, all inspired by the bestselling book "Infinite Dreams." This is an unprecedented opportunity to get up close and personal with the band's storied history – a treasure trove for any true fan!

And that's not all! Wander into Maidenville, a hub of activity boasting the greatest Eddie's Dive Bar ever, a dynamic second stage for music and entertainment, and the Unfair Funfair complete with rides and uniquely Eddie-themed games. Plus, don't miss Eddie's Emporium and a multitude of other fascinating areas to explore.

For those who choose to camp, Friday night offers an exclusive advantage: early access to the entire site and its experiences, including the very first chance to delve into the Infinite Dreams Museum. The evening will be alive with entertainment on the Maidenville stage, featuring a curated selection of special acts that share a deep connection with MAIDEN. This all builds up to the grand finale on Saturday: the main stage, featuring an exceptional supporting lineup, culminating in IRON MAIDEN's breathtaking "Run For Your Lives" performance.

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood shared his excitement: "After the monumental shows in the U.K. last year, we knew that if we were going to play the U.K. in 2026, it had to be very different. So we chose Knebworth Park as it gives us the space required — which is just not available in stadiums — to put together something groundbreaking for our fans by creating a 'MAIDEN world' for them. We are excited to now reveal the details of this one-off event to celebrate the band's 50-year career, which we are now calling Eddfest, because, as everyone knows, Eddie is the true star of the show! We also know MAIDEN fans are basically a huge gang and we want to give them a weekend to remember at Knebworth."

He continued, "For the last couple of tours we have been arranging the Eddie Dive Bars for our fans, both pre- and post-show. Some of these took over the entire centres of towns with thousands of fans gathered there enjoying the fun, the music and each other's company. So Eddfest is going to expand on that concept in a huge variety of ways, to create a truly unmissable 'MAIDEN world' over the whole weekend! There will be a whole host of great music, great beer (of course!), lots of exciting and varied fun things to do, great souvenirs and merch, some unique and fantastic photo opportunities to create unbeatable MAIDEN memories, and of course, the true camaraderie that comes from being a MAIDEN fan."

Promoters Stuart Galbraith and Alan Day from Kilimanjaro, who were instrumental in creating Sonisphere, added: "MAIDEN have a different view on how they want to do things for their fans than most bands. We previously worked with them at Sonisphere and when they explained what they wanted to do for this show we were hooked. It will be a unique event. A celebration of the Eddie-verse, if you will: a curated Friday afternoon, night and all day Saturday, finishing with the last U.K. show MAIDEN will play until at least 2028!"

And this is the part most people miss... "Creating something like that, which will include a once-in-a-lifetime Infinite Dreams museum experience, featuring a wide range of rarely-seen memorabilia from throughout their history, a MAIDEN-themed fun fair, the biggest Eddie's Dive Bar ever with some extra special additions and surprises, plus the ability to camp, glamp or park a motorhome on site for the Friday and Saturday night show in a specially created 'village' space with MAIDEN alumni, friends and our perfect partners Planet Rock — well, it was a chance not to be missed!"

The Eddfest festival kicks off at 2 p.m. on Friday, with camping included for both nights. Various sections of Maidenville will be accessible to weekend campers throughout Friday afternoon and into the early hours of Saturday morning, including the highly anticipated Infinite Dreams Museum Experience.

Friday night at Eddfest is all about igniting the fun before the main event. The campsite will buzz with energy, offering direct access to the heart of Maidenville. The entertainment lineup is a vibrant mix of bands and artists with genuine connections to MAIDEN – some well-known, others more obscure, but all united by their shared passion and deserving of a spot in this opening night celebration. Get ready for full sets from STRAY, MAIDEN UNITED, AIRFORCE, TONY MOORE'S AWAKE, and HAIR METAL GLAMAGEDDON on the Maidenville second stage!

Saturday sees the grand opening of the Main Arena, featuring Eddie's Extended Emporium, the exclusive Trooper VIP area, and a variety of interactive experiences. These serve as exciting preludes to the meticulously curated Main Stage festival lineup. Kicking things off are the revitalized British rockers THE ALMIGHTY, followed by Australia's festival-ready AIRBOURNE, and then the electrifying Mongolian metal sounds of THE HU. As evening approaches, THE DARKNESS will deliver a barnstorming set before IRON MAIDEN takes the stage for their historic performance – the ultimate communal experience between the band and their fans, set within the heart of this unparalleled "MAIDEN world."

Eddfest promises to be a truly exceptional weekend for every single MAIDEN fan in attendance. It's an unforgettable chance to be part of a fully themed festival experience, celebrating IRON MAIDEN's spectacular fifty-year career, and it's your last opportunity to see them in the U.K. until at least 2028!

Tickets are available via ironmaiden.knebworth.com, myticket.co.uk, ticketmaster.co.uk, and, of course, ironmaiden.com.
