Over 1,000 homes in the TA3 postcode area south of Taunton were plunged into darkness due to a power outage this morning (February 15). The incident, reported at 6:56 am, affected 1,117 properties, leaving them without electricity. According to the National Grid, engineers were dispatched to the scene, and by 7:30 am, power had been restored to 83 homes, leaving one property still in the dark. The problem is expected to be resolved by 8:30 am, according to the National Grid's website. The affected postcodes are: TA3 7AP, TA3 7AR, TA3 7AW, TA3 7BU, TA3 7BX, TA3 7BY, TA3 7BZ, TA3 7DA, TA3 7DB, TA3 7DD, TA3 7DE, TA3 7DF, and TA3 7DG.
